Luminary Labs welcomes a new Engagement Manager and a new Associate.

New hires
Amy Meng joined Luminary Labs as an Engagement Manager. Her background in civic technology consulting and teaching equips her with deep empathy and effective strategies for navigating complex organizations and ecosystems. She is skilled at rapidly building relationships, shepherding teams, and developing programs with an eye toward systems thinking, accessibility, and equity. Prior to joining Luminary Labs, she was an Associate Director of Delivery/Project Management at Truss, a software consultancy working primarily with the federal government. She is currently leading a regional innovation infrastructure engagement, as well as our next phase of work on the LymeX Diagnostics Prize.
Maeser Allen joined Luminary Labs as an Associate. A natural problem solver, he enjoys bringing stakeholders together to create innovative solutions. His diverse background in public service, advocacy, nonprofit administration, and academic research allows him to identify, connect, and communicate latent insights that lead to impactful decisions. Prior to joining the Luminary Labs team, Maeser provided critical administrative support to executives at the Global Impact Investing Network. He is currently supporting a regional innovation infrastructure engagement, as well as our work with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE).

Luminary Labs engagements span a broad cross section of topics across four focus areas: the future of work and education, the future of health, scientific discovery, and infrastructure. Across clients and topics, our day-to-day consulting work includes conducting desk and design research, mapping ecosystems, building scenarios, engaging stakeholders, creating frameworks for thoughtful and considered decision-making, designing strategic programs — and ultimately, operationalizing and launching new initiatives.
