Allana Edwards is a Senior Communications Associate at Luminary Labs. With a background in education, advertising, and branding, Allana has extensive experience in creating and executing impactful communications for a variety of audiences.

Prior to Luminary Labs, Allana produced copywriting and social media marketing for the Carbone Smolan Agency, an independent design-led branding agency. More recently, she served as the Communications Coordinator at The Calhoun School, where she worked to innovate the institution’s approach to communication, advancing Calhoun’s marketing strategy with digital tools and data-driven approaches to draw more applicants. Allana has over six years of experience supporting external and internal communications, with expertise in website writing and producing multimedia content for social media. Allana is passionate about communications through all media, and using the power of words to push stories forward.

Allana holds a bachelor’s in English with a minor in Film and Media Studies from Colgate University. Outside of work, she enjoys live sports events, reading, music, and trying new restaurants around the city.
