New hires
Rebecca Meyer joined Luminary Labs as an Engagement Manager. She has led strategy in environments ranging from a Fortune 100 company to a seed-stage startup; this experience has made her adept at balancing big-picture thinking with an action-oriented approach. Prior to joining Luminary Labs, Rebecca worked in the Merchant Services business at American Express, where she evaluated how emerging payment models would affect the company’s relationship with businesses around the globe. She is currently leading two engagements with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE).
Harrison Diskin joined Luminary Labs as a Senior Communications Associate. His background in humanities research, writing, and education has shaped a deep commitment to the power of accessible language and engaging narrative to drive transformation and change across sectors. Prior to joining Luminary Labs, Harrison earned his Ph.D. in history and a graduate certificate in visual studies from the University of Southern California. He is currently bringing his expertise to the Future Finder Challenge, as well as a series of annual challenges that will increase access to career and technical education.
Olivia Anderle joined Luminary Labs as a Senior Talent Associate. With a background in technical talent acquisition and psychology, Olivia is adept at building teams and understanding interpersonal dynamics. Prior to joining Luminary Labs, Olivia served as the only People Ops team member at a growing technology startup. She is now supporting Luminary Labs’ recruitment strategy, developing exceptional experiences and scalable processes to help our company grow.

Luminary Labs engagements span a broad cross section of topics across four focus areas: the future of work and education, the future of health, scientific discovery, and infrastructure. Across clients and topics, our day-to-day consulting work includes conducting desk and design research, mapping ecosystems, building scenarios, engaging stakeholders, creating frameworks for thoughtful and considered decision-making, designing strategic programs — and ultimately, operationalizing and launching new initiatives.
