Games, simulations, and virtual reality are changing the way students play and learn, simulating real life experiences to engage students and transfer 21st century skills. We’ve been working with the U.S. Department of Education (ED) on the EdSim Challenge as part of Ed Prizes, a series of prize competitions to prepare students for the high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand occupations of tomorrow.
The EdSim Challenge seeks to spur the development of simulated learning experiences that will help define the next generation of applied learning. ED is kicking off the Challenge with a Call for Public Feedback, asking for feedback from experts in gaming, development, and edtech to help shape the Challenge design.
Are you passionate about the role of games, simulations, and VR to transform student outcomes? ED wants to hear from you!
We hope you’ll share your feedback by December 6, and stay tuned for the Challenge launch in Spring 2016.
